Arrowhead Stadium purse policy allows guests to bring only those that fit under 4.5" x 6.5". Fans are prohibited to bring backpacks.

Guests can bring clutches that have both shoulder straps or wrist strap versions. Anything larger than a clutch will not be allowed inside the venue.

Arrowhead Stadium is the home field of the Kansas City Chiefs which plays in the AFC West division. Located on Kansas City's Arrowhead Drive, the Field has been active since the 1972 season. It is also regarded as the loudest stadium in NFL.

The coliseum broke ground on 11 July 1968 and it finally got completed in August 1972. The construction cost was $43 million ($301 million in 2022 terms). Likewise, it also underwent renovations multiple times, i.e. in 1991, 1994, and from 2007 - 2010.

Kivett and Myers organization took the responsibility of being the coliseum's architect, while Populous Inc was invited for the renovation duties in 2007. Bob D. Campbell & Company was hired as the structural engineer.

Since 2010, Arrowhead contains a 76,416 seating capacity along with 128 executive suites. The Chiefs also sold the naming rights of the coliseum to GEHA in 2021.

Arrowhead Stadium Concert Rules

Ed Sheeran concert at Arrowhead Stadium is slated for 5 August 2023 from 6:00 pm. Many musical shows have been held at the coliseum, and the most recent one was Taylor Swift's on 7-8 July.

Here are some of the guidelines for the concert-goers at GEHA Field:

  • The parking lot will open at 2:30 pm for the concert. The passes for parking should be bought from the Chief's official website. No payments are accepted at the Toll Gates.
  • For the 6:30 pm concerts, the gates will open at 4:30 pm, two hours earlier. VIP ticket holders will be allowed entry at 3:30 pm.
  • Only ticket holders will be allowed entry inside the venue. The venue officials can check the tickets at any time.
  • Visitors are not permitted to be in the parking lot when the music artist has started their show.
  • No visitors shall leave any firearms or other valuable items in their vehicles. They are requested to leave such items at their house.
  • Ride Share and pick-up vehicles will get no charges to drop off the visitors.
  • Entry and exit gates will be designated prior to the event. Taylor Swift's concert had drop-off vehicles enter Gate 2 and exit at Gate 7.

Arrowhead Stadium Bag Rules

Arrowhead stadium clear bag policy states that visitors are not allowed to bring bags that exceed 12" x 6" x 12" dimensions.

The Chiefs have adopted the motto of Be Clear On Game Day Safty and encourage fans to bring only carriers that are made up of plastic, PVC, or vinyl. The coliseum will also permit plastic freezer bags like Ziploc and they should be 1 gallon or less.

Similarly, small purses are allowed and they should not exceed 4.5" x 6.5" dimensions. The Coliseum has a wide array of non-approved bags. Here is a list of some of them for the 2023 season:

Carriers with medical needs like Breast pumps can get exceptions regarding the bag rules. Fans with their carriers will have to travel through restricted lane numbers, so waiting time can be increased. Those who bring no bags will get to enter faster.

If the bags are too large for bringing inside the venue, then the guests can store them in their own four-wheeler vehicles. People with no vehicles could store them at nearby shops or hotels too.

The coliseum seeks to provide an enjoyable experience for all the spectators, and they have listed many items restricted inside the venue. These goods are a great liability for causing disruption to the great football experience.

Banners And Signs Rules

GEHA Field allows for banners to be brought inside the venue if they are 3' x 5' or less.

The security officials will inspect the banners, and they should not contain any malicious or obscene things. Any sign that contains political, commercial, or religious themes that offend other guests will be swiftly taken down.

Moreover, the spectators cannot hang the signs in the coliseum areas like walls, LED boards, or railings. They also should not cover up the venue's signs too. Fans should take care while displaying them, and not disturb the other person's viewing experience.

Portable Charger Policy

Arrowhead Stadium portable charger policy allows fans to bring them if they are not more than 6"x3"x1.5".

Guests are requested to bring the chargers that follow the stated measurements. Likewise, these items should be disconnected from the fan's electronic devices during the inspection.

Food Policy

Outside alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. Only one water bottle is allowed per visitor. No glasses, thermos, or flasks will be allowed.

Rain Policy

Arrowhead Stadium rain policy states that fans can bring rain ponchos inside the venue.

Guests are also allowed to bring an umbrella to the coliseum. These umbrellas should be small and compact and should not disrupt the view of other spectators. Fans cannot use them in the seating bowl too.

Arrowhead Stadium Best Seats

For NFL games, the front rows of upper decks, i.e. 301 to 346 will provide a great viewing experience as the spectators can read the game properly and watch the game unfold without needing to squint their eyes or use binoculars.

Moreover, you can try to get to the middle of the row so that you will not face the necessary disturbance of people going back and forth during the game hour.

Pre-paid parking services are available to ensure that your vehicle has a sure spot on game day. The accessible lots are A, B, C, D, F, G, and H, while E and M are premium ones.

The parking areas are allotted into three types: Red, Gold, and Platinum. These areas are based on the closure of the Coliseum, so Red will be farther away and Platinum is the closest to the Field. The majority of the fans utilize the Red one.
