XFL Championship Game attendance 2023 was 22754 fans at the Alamodome in San Antonio. XFL attendance by team was the highest for St Louis Battlehawks at 175520.

The Championship finals game between the Arlington Renegades and the DC Defenders gathered a good number of attendance.

The number of spectators for the finals is still low in comparison to the NFL but with room for improvement as it is in its initial stage at the moment.

The league owners Danny Garcia and Dwayne Johnson are already looking forward to the next season as they feel the 2023 season was a success.

The turnout regarding the attendance did not match up to their expectations and the league will need to do a lot of work to improve in that department.

There was a drop of 23% in the league's attendance in comparison to the 2020 season as well as a drop in the number of audiences for the games.

XFL Championship 2023 Attendance

XFL attendance by team was the lowest for Vegas Vipers with 30,124 attendance and highest for St. Louis Battlehawks with 175,520.

The league had a mixture of figures as the attendees did not tune in with the expected numbers. The XFL 2020 season which was cut short mid-way due to the COVID-19 pandemic had better attendance for the games as compared to the reboot 2023 season.

The spectators could not be drawn to the maximum to the stadiums this season and hopefully, this won't be the case next season.

XFL Attendance by Team Throughout The Season (total):

  • Arlington Renegades - 60,274
  • D.C. Defenders - 71,347

  • San Antonio Brahmas - 74,914

The Battlehawks' 38,310 in week 4 is the record-high attendance this season and the Vipers recorded the lowest with only 6,008 spectators in week 5.

The weekly average attendance per game stood at 14,443 which is a drop from the average of 18,614 in 2020.

The XFL also offers a benefits package worth $20,000. Payment of two meals a day and housing payments are additional benefits of the new league and valid only for the duration of the season.

It is believed that the Quarterbacks will earn a slightly higher salary than the average salaries of other players and their salaries can be six figures.

In comparison to the NFL, the minimum average salary of an NFL player is $750,000, and the minimum average salary for active players in the USFL is $53,500.

The XFL's pay structure has been designed to compete with other professional football leagues and provide players with the best facilities that will draw them to the league.

Luis Perez Salary

Luis Perez XFL salary earns him $27,000 a season and was adjudged the Championship Finals 'MVP'. Perez had an impressive season and an even better final.

Luis Perez has a contract with the Renegades of $27,000 in salary. Being a QB, he has a base price of $25,000 and an additional $2000 as incentives.

The Championship winner and Finals MVP is still paid a lot lesser than a lot of other players in the league. The other quarterbacks on the team have a higher salary than Perez.

With an incredible season, Perez has surely performed way above his pay grade.
