Marquez Valdes Scantling was born to mom Tahisia Scantling and dad Marcellus Scantling in October 1994.

Tahisia and Marcellus are natives of Tampa Bay, Florida. They are fans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers because of their hometown. However, they also equally support their son's team.

Their support was divided when Marquez's Packers faced off against the Buccaneers in January 2021 for the NFC championship game. Tahisia told the Weekly Challenger she was torn since she wanted both teams to reach the Super Bowl LV.

Tahisia completed her bachelors from St. Petersberg college and did her Masters from the University of North Florida. Scantling studied at the Bob Houge School of Real Estate to pursue her real estate career.

Per her LinkedIn, Tahisia has been working at Right Turn Realty since December 2019. Moreover, she also is the CEO of AAA Construction Management & Development since January 2023.

Marquez's mom has successfully gained the Certified Manager of Community Associations from Florida. She also holds a District 6 Real Estate Leadership certification.

Tahisia is also involved in coaching activities in the real-estate sector.

With more than 3-years of experience in the field, followed by more than 20 years in the financial market, Tahisia witnessed many ups and downs in the business world.

With her experiences, Tahisia has organized and participated in many training sessions. For instance, on 27th January 2023, she shared a zoom meeting on her Facebook to showcase free real-estate tips and tools.

She also promoted the Commercial Real-Estate course prepared by St. Petersberg College on her Facebook on 5th January 2023.

She has also visited various events and programs dedicated to the real estate business. On 21st January 2023, she attended the "Florida Realtors: Your Business Partner" event and flaunted her formal wear on Facebook.

Tahisia is proud of Marquez

Tahisia is proud of her son's football career. She occasionally posts support for Marquez on her Facebook.

On 30th January 2023, Tahisia shared a beautiful post of her wearing her kid's Chiefs Jersey #11 with the caption stating that she was ready for the Chiefs to match against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Tahisia also posted prideful news about Marquez scoring Touchdown on 22nd January 2023. She captioned, "Congratulations, Kansas City Chiefs. Nice touchdown," and added that only two matches were left.

Father Marcellus Scantling is a Tampa College Graduate

Marcellus Scantling graduated from Tampa College with an Arts degree in Engineering.

Marquez's old man also enrolled in the University of Phoenix to pursue a business degree.

Marcellus works as an electrical engineer. He was involved in the Kennedy Space Center program to make the space shuttle from analog to digital.

Marquez had talked with his father about changing his university since he did not feel at home in North Carolina. Marcellus supported his decision, and later, Marquez transferred to South Florida.

Marcellus and Tahisia went on Vacation in 2022

Tahisia vacationed with her hubby Marcellus on 11th June 2022.

The couple traveled to Cozumel, Roatan, and Costa Maya on a cruise. They enjoyed their time together for one week.

Tahisia shared their vacation photos on Facebook and humorously stated how Marcellus was locked in close quarters with her for seven days.

The pair enjoyed their time by performing rock climbing, going to the beaches, doing Quad Bike tours, and visiting the Water Park in Mahahual. They also tagged the Royal Caribbean Crown & Anchor Society, a membership club that provides extra benefits for cruise enthusiasts.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling family has indulged in a charitable tradition. Marquez provides donations for the homeless.

Marquez started this activity in his last year at high school. He discussed the idea of giving back with his dad, and then Marquez made the announcement on his social media.

With Marquez's popularity, he gained generous donations and collected them in about 80 backpacks. The Scantling household drove to Williams Park to provide the donations. They have only increased since Marquez's rise to fame in the NFL.

During Christmastime in 2019, the household hosted a charity event along with the Daystar Life Center to provide haircuts, food, and clothing.

Marquez also made a partnership deal with the firm, Heavy's Food Truck in 2018 to help him provide 200 free food for the homeless.

Marquez has two brothers in the family: TJ and Aiyden Scantling.

The brothers were seen together in Ulele restaurant, eating dinner with their mom and dad. Tahisia shared their photos on her Facebook and made a caption stating that she enjoyed hanging with them.

TJ is the eldest child and has a passion for fashion, evidenced by his hairstyling and the clothing choices he makes for his mother. She made a proud post on 31st July 2021 with her long sleeve pleated dress and captioned, "Styled by none other than My TJ."

Tahisia wished a happy 31st birthday to TJ via Facebook on 11th November 2022. Many people congratulated TJ on his birthday in the comments. Tahisiaa also lovingly calls him her twin.

Aiyden is the youngest kid and has been living free from elderly tension. He loves to drive his toy cars, as shown on Tahisia's Facebook.

TJ Scantling is a Social Worker

TJ Scantling is the CEO of 9 colors Initiative which helps to fight misinformation about the AIDS condition in the African American and LGBTQ+ community.

He has worked with Metro Inclusive Health and AHF to further his organization's purpose.

TJ moved to New York City when he turned 18 to pursue modeling but returned to study at St. Petersburg College. There, he founded his noble organization.

Today, the eldest Scantling sibling has been actively working to bring awareness about the HIV situation via TikTok campaigns, organizing Drag Race competitions, and barber shop talks.

Tahisia is proud of her son's social service and occasionally posts about his career and talks on her Facebook.
