2023 Kansas Shrine Bowl will start on Saturday, July 15th at Lewis Field Stadium. It is the 50th annual Shrine Bowl game.

The Kansas Shrine Bowl is an all-star High school senior event played annually in Kansas by the Shrine Bowl of Kansas Inc since 1974.

Till now, the West holds the record of 30 wins, while the East has 17 wins, and two games have been tied.

In 2022, the Kansas Shrine Bowl contributed $125,000 to Shriner's children and donated more than $3.7 million to the Shrines Hospitals for Children.

Kansas Shrine Bowl Rosters

Kansas Shrine Bowl 2023 roster consists of 40 players in each squad. It features some of the top athletes like Jordan Allen and Will Anciaux.

Players are selected yearly based on media votes and selection from the Kansas Shrine Bowl coaching staff. A player must be recommended by their high school coach or athletic director to be selected.

More than 3,000 players will join the 2023 Kansas Shrine Bowl who have been part of the Kansas Shrine Bowl since 1974.

The list of players for a particular team can change over the year because they might add or remove players from the group.

Kansas shrine bowl 2022 roster consists of Zach Atkins and Brayden Beerbower in the East squad, while Ar’Mon Acosta and Reed Adelhardt are in the West squad.

The 49th annual Kansas Shrine Bowl took place on July 23 at Pittsburg State's Carnie Smith Stadium. The Head coach for the East team was Rod Stallbaumer, while Troy Black coached the West team.

Kansas shrine bowl 2021 roster includes Ethan Abell, Shadryon Blanka, Nic Allen, and more. The 48th Annual Kansas Bowl was held on June 26, 2021.

The Kansas Shrine Bowl's Board of Directors announced the list of the East and West teams for the 2021 Kansas Shrine Bowl. These players have been part of the 48th Annual Kansas Shrine Bowl at Gowans Stadium in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Head Coach for 2021 was selected from the votes of the 2020 coaching staff, managers, camp directors, and trainers. Every year players are selected by both combination of media votes and the coaching staff of the Kansas Shrine Bowl.

Tickets

Kansas shrine bowl tickets cost $20 for general while for the student it costs only $15 per person.

Student tickets can be used for anyone under 18, and children under 3 do not require a ticket.

The Kansas Shrine Bowl is played every summer to raise funds and awareness for the Shriner's children. The Shrine Bowl has been played since 1974 and is hosted by one of the country's most reputable high school football all-star games.

Location

KS Shrine Bowl 2023 will be played at Lewis Field Stadium on the Fort Hays State University campus in Hays on Saturday, July 15.

Host cities in which the Shrine Bowl has been played include Lawrence, Manhattan, Wichita, Topeka, Hays, Emporia, Pittsburg, Dodge City, and Hutchinson.

The event brings 6,000 to 8,000 spectators to the host city. The 50th Kansas Shrine Bowl is expected to get even more crowds than other seasons.

In 2021, Kansas Shrine Bowl took place in Carnie Smith Stadium on the campus of Pittsburg State University.

It was to be played on Saturday, 2020, in Topeka, qt Yager Stadium, but, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it took place at Hummer Sports Complex.

Coaches

2023 Shrine Bowl Kansas coach are Clint Rider and Tony Crough for the East squad and West squad, respectively. Rider and Crough are the head coach of their respective teams.

Clint Rider was the head football coach at Blue Valley Northwest High School in Overland Park, Kansas. He was honored as the Class 3A Football Coach of the Year after leading Hesston High School to its first-ever state championship game in 2016.

Tony Crough worked as an assistant coach on the West team in 2017 and the East team in 2022, now in his sixth season as the head coach at Blue Valley Northwest.

The Head coaches of the Shrine Bowl are determined via a vote of the previous game's staff, including the camp director, former coach, trainers, and managers.
