George Karlaftis started dating his partner Kaia Harris in 2016.
Harris plays track and field at the University of Missouri, where she is doing her Juris Doctor (JD) or doctor of law. She will graduate from the university in 2025.

Kaia Harris Playing Career
Kaia started her athletic journey at Purdue University, earning Academic All-America and All-American honors. She played track and field indoors in 2019. Harris redshirted in 2019 outdoors.
She had her breakthrough season in 2021. The West Lafayette born received the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award after participating in three meets in the weight throw.
She earned a throw of 15.77 meters in the weight throw at the Hawkeye Big Ten Invite on February 12. Moreover, Kaia also had a personal-best weight throw mark of 15.91 meters to place fifth at the Hoosier Hills Invite on February 6.
Similarly, she competed in seven meets in the discus and hammer throw at the 2021 outdoors. The Indiana born earned a throw of 48.89 meters in the discus to finish 31st at the NCAA East Prelims on May 29.

She won the discus with a mark of 54.11 meters, No. 2 in program history. She also was fourth in the hammer with a throw of 52.89 meters at the Big Ten North Florida Invite from April 2-3.
Harris was named the 2021 USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, 2021 Academic All-Big Ten, and 2021 Big Ten Sportsmanship Award. Moreover, she also won the 2020 Academic All-Big Ten.
She did not participate in 2022 indoors while she had a great season outdoors. Kaia was placed 3rd in the discus throw and 8th in the hammer throw at the Miami Hurricane Invitational.
Similarly, she took 1st prize in the discus throw at the 44 Farms Team Invitational. Moreover, the Indianan born participated in the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
