Allison Kafka Education and Experience
Allison Kafka is an Alum of the University of Pennsylvania. Mike is living with his partner Allison in New York.
She is currently working as the Program Director at RareKC, a non-profit medical center for the Kansas City community.
Alli went to Instituto Internacional in Madrid, Spain in 2007. Mrs. Kafka majored in Spanish Language and Culture during her time in Europe.
She then enrolled at Northwestern University, a private research university in Evanston, Illinois, in 2005. Allison got her BA degree in International Studies and Spanish, Pre-Medical Studies.
The Phonix native participated in Graffiti Dancers, Kappa Alpha Theta, Arts Alliance, and Global Medical Brigades in her college. She is a Certified Professional in Health Care Quality.

She did her MPH, Public Health - Health Policy and Management, from the University of Pennsylvania. Kafka participated in Penn Public Health Society between 2011 and 2013.
Allison lists her skills in public health, healthcare, research, policy, and data analysis. She also has expertise in business strategy, Spanish, clinical health, and many others.
She uses Instagram under the username @alli.kafka. In addition, she also has a Twitter account, @alli_kafka.
Her Career Between 2009-Present
Allison started her Career in June 2009 as Federal Government Affairs Intern at AstraZeneca. It is a British-Swedish multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology company.
She examined health reform legislation for three months to inform short and long-term business strategies at AstraZeneca. Kafka then took the role of Research Coordinator at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine, in August 2009.
Alli worked as an on-site coordinator for the BRAVO and LIFE. She studied the prevention of heart disease, mobility loss, and cognitive decline in older populations.
The Phoenix native took the role of Educator at lululemon athletic in December 2009. She managed local projects and events, including product promotion, gym, and fitness studio partnerships, during her time at lululemon, a Canadian multinational athletic apparel retailer.
Allison returned to AstraZeneca as a Corporate Communications and Media Relations Intern in May 2011. She organized corporate social media accounts during her second stint in the company.
She then took the responsibility of Community Outreach Liaison at Healthy Philadelphia between February 2012 and January 2013.

Kafka worked as an MPH Candidate at the University of Pennsylvania, her college, in June 2011. She remained there for two years.
Allison took the position of vice president at Roo Outdoor. It supplies Gear, apparel, and accessories inspired by adventurous and outdoor living. Moreover, it was founded by her husband, Mike.
The Phoenix native then worked for different positions in Kepro, a national care management and quality improvement organization servicing commercial and public programs. She held the role of Project Coordinator and Market development specialist.
She left her job at Kepro after over five years of service in January 2020 to join The RareKC Foundation.
