Madden 24 Franchise Updates
Updates in Madden 24 Franchise mode are expected to bring out a lot of enhancement to the player's participation in the game. Let's discuss them below:
Training Camp
The Most awaited feature is now finally available in Madd 24 series. This new change attributed to the game will allow the users to revamp their rosters by running the players through a number of mini-games.
This is actually a fun part of the play, where all mini-games are included and provide you with a chance to optimize the player's list. And most importantly, it doesn't tend to consume an ample amount of time and is more like a quickie before the start of your season.
So, what mini-games are there inside the training camp? Find it below:
- Target Passing for Quarterbacks
- Pass Skeleton - Outmanned for Quarterbacks
- Rushing Attack for Halfbacks and Fullbacks
- WR Battle for Wide Receivers and Tight Ends
- WR Battle - Red Zone Attack for Wide Receivers and Tight Ends
- Trench Battle - The Long Hall for Defensive Line and Linebackers
- Chase and Tackle for Linebackers
- DB Battle for Defensive Backs
- DB Battle - Red Zone Defense for Defensive Backs
- Field Goal Accuracy for Kickers
- Coffin Corner for Punters
How To Play Mini Game Inside Training Camp?
- Choose one of the mini-game inside the training camp
- Mini-games are available for all the players except Offensive Lineman
- The mini-game you select will decide the eligible player to play
- Choose any player eligible for the play.
It is important to note that you have to choose your player wisely because one player can only play and complete one mini-game in training camp and each game can only be completed for a single time.
Your success in the games decides whether you are capable of gold, silver, or bronze medal and awards comes accordingly.
The rewards you gain vary in form and include Skill Points to upgrade your player. But it is not a compulsion to play mini-games.
Weekly Strategy
Mini-games have also been added to the weekly strategy loop. After you complete deciding your offensive and defensive game plan each week, all 26 mini-games will be available to play. But each focus player will get to play one mini-game.
The focus player's eligibility will highly matter on what game the player gets to participate in. The rewards in this loop are much lower than that in the camps as it is a weekly task. It is to be used as a modifier to the XP bonus.
Commissioner Tools
EA developers have added commissioner tools in the Franchise Mode so that the users get more power to customize their league whether they are playing league with a few friends, a full 32-user league, or solo. The tools and settings are:
- Depth Chart Recording
- Draft Class Strength
- Offensive and Defensive Play Call Settings
- Fantasy Draft Order
- Free Agent Motivations Impact
- Trade Difficulty
- Home Field Advantage Toggle
- Progression and Regression Sliders
- Free Agency Negotiation Per Stage
- Draft Timer
Salary Cap Management
Salary cap management is not a new feature in Madden but it has always been a critical component to build a roster leading to a championship.
EA has added two more upgrades in the fold; contract restructuring and 5th Year Option. The first one can be used to reduce salary and distribute the money as a bonus for the remaining years providing relief in the salary cap.
Players to be eligible for contract restructuring must have multiple years to play within the contract. The rookie contracts can not be restructured until they complete their third season.
The 5th Year option has been made available to all players picked in the first round of the NFL Draft providing a team to choose whether or not to include 5th year in a player's Rookie contract.
Players' Value and Logic Improvements, Talent Tree Expansion, Ability Slots, Moral Tuning, and Scouting UI improvements are other important upgrades in the Franchise mode.
